I was wondering if you have to disable Nod when updating your video card drivers. Seems like you are told to do so but I am unsure with Nod as it is different than Norton etc.

No , it is not necessary to disable NOD.NOD32 is fast and cooperates smoothly with everything . Although you may read that an AV should be disabled , don't do it with NOD32 but leave it protect you :thumb:

I've never had a problem with anything I installed while NOD was running in the background.

Unless an installer contains potentially harmful files, it would be safe to keep NOD running in the background during installation process, as it would not intercept registry changes the installer needs to write into system registry.

For installation of video drivers, it would be absolutely trouble-free. Like Brian said, I never had a problem either.
