As subject really, last time I looked at NOD32 (500 or so PC environment) I rather liked the program, however we don't want email protection as we have that on our Exchange server.

Problem was that disabling the email scanner in NOD32 resulted in an orange tray icon vs. green so it looked like NOD32 was having problems.

Has this behaviour been changed yet?

Last I remember there was a bit of a bodge where you can turn off POP3 scanning, but we use Exchange which is MAPI and I don't want our clients doing local scanning of mailboxes stored on our Exchange server.

    Thanks in advance.

You can disable POP3 checking as well as integration with email clients to disable email checking without changing the protection status.
