    New test for some firewall/hips:

    Result: http://www.matousec.com/projects/proactive-security-challenge/results.php

I just don't understand why they tested only OA full 3.5, and they didn't test OA free 3.5 o_O

Excellent result for Online Armor Paid. Congratulations.

Surpassingly good result for Outpost Firewall Free.
Too bad that OA free is not tested.

Now we can say that we have real "Battle of Titans".
Besides good paid programs as OA and Outpost (here can also be include Comodo), we have also competition between freewares : OA Free, Comodo , Outpost Firewall Free.
And also there satisfactory PC Tools Firewall.

Outpost free beats outpost paid. I bet agnitum will ask matousec to either remove the free version or indicate its at a later version which is why it got a better result. I also thought they would not test the free version.

Look at the testing dates from the report files.
    Outpost Pro: February 16, 2009
    Outpost Free: May 2, 2009

There is a new version of Outpost Pro, which is 6.5.4 (2525.381.0687). So it may beat the free one (or get the same result) when it is tested with the current version.
