    Hi Lane,

There are several free and good spyware scanners:
Spybot - Search & Destroy or AdAware to name the most popular ones.
But, if you suspect someone installed a professional program to spy on you on your computer, you would probably need a more specialized program like SpyCop.

    Regards,

    Pieter

Hello Pieter and thank you for the advice. Do you know this program to be a well respected program for this purpose?

    Hi Lane,

Nice to see you registered. :)

    I assume you mean SpyCop.
I never used it myself, but at least two highly respected members of this board do and they like it. Maybe they will jump in.
It's the one I would use if I suspected something like that, but maybe others will have a different choice for you.

    Regards,

    Pieter

    Hello Lane

By the way - Spybot S&D and Ad-Aware are both free.

Use these both at least and let us know what you found out.

    Best wishes

Question Lane; Are you trying to find spyware installed on your computer or someone else's computer or a public computer?
