In Application Filtering, Connected Applications List, there are multiple time "Generic Host Process for Win32". Is there a way to have more detail about this ?

Let’s say you open one instance of Internet Explorer it’ll show in “Connected Applications” List, if you run another instance of Internet Explorer that too will show in “Connected Applications” List. Multi-Support :D

Your are rigth. But "Generic Host Process for Win32" is a dll loader. It load dll or group of dll services. It would be nice to know witch services belong to each entry. And If this possibilies is added, it may be possible to add the possibility to allow only some the "Generic Host Process for Win32" entries. For exemple only the DNS one. What do you think about this ?

The Service Host Process is generic host process for services that are run from dynamic-link libraries (DLLs), Yea I know I didn’t think it was necessary to get into any Detailed Informatics at the time...

For some of your Questions go-to Start Menu \ Run; CMD (Press Enter key or click OK Button) and then paste the following; Tasklist /SVC (Enter)

For Information on running Services visit http://www.blkviper.com/WinXP/servicecfg.htm
