    Hello,

i tried to download a eicar virus testfile for testing eset web access protection.
Okay, Eset terminated connection and i couldn't download testfile.
But the Desktop Notification was shown 12 times.
So, when i cklicked X, the same notification was shown... I cklicked X again, the message was shown again.
So i tried to wait when message will leave automatically, it was shown again.
I think, one notification is enough, 12 times is a litte lot... ;)
And i think, a diaolg-box with a question wether the download shoud be continued would be usefull. (Dialog can be activated in Setup?)

This is a known issue. ESET is working on this one. It will be debugged in the next beta version

The alerts appear as many times as a threat has been detected. In your case, the browser must have downloaded 12 instances of eicar.

Don't think this is exactly right. When I download eicar once ESS is popping up about five times.

Marcos is right. As far as I know Opera tries to download Eicar test file approximately 5 times so ESS shows 5 alerts..

Here is something I just don't understand.
If my connection was terminated after the first attempt how could I recive other n infected files from the same address ?

    1. Opera attempts to download Eicar...
    2. ESS terminates connection
    3. Opera attempts to download Eicar again hoping that it will succeed now..
    4. ESS terminates connection
    5. Opera attemts to do it again again again..

If that's the case I think ESS should prevent my browser reconnecting to an infected link.:ninja:

EDIT: I've tested this with Opera and KIS7. Only one popup telling me that the requested URL is infected. This is the right way to do it (my personal opinion).
