    Hi there, I'm new here!

    My desktop has changed by ( I don't knowo_O?) at least a program I haven't started!
    The background picture is gone.
On my desktop there are icons missing.
The taskbar does not show the quick buttons IE, email, desktop and ... anymore
My IE8 startscreen does not have my favorites and has not mystartup page.
The directory my documents and my pictures are empty.

I think that there is only one file emptied or cleaned because I have found my directories and luckily my files are there, except yesterday's files.
At that time my taskmanager was closed.... so I couldn't stop several processes.
It started to open pages on poker, gambling, mortgages and loans, x-rated pages and I couldn't stop it.

After a while I could reach the internet and I have installed IOS360, which reported me that I also had a trojan exe.exe

Does anybody know where I can find the responsable file with my settings for my desktop and so?
Anyone has a solution to get rid of, and control if it's gone! the exe.exe trojan?

    Thanks in advance
    John

John1962, perhaps a review of If you are currently infected and getting dedicated help (more than Wilders can provide), in any of the sites listed there, would be best for you.
