Nice to see Eset doing reasonably well . Avira results look questionable.

I am also glad that ESET did well.:D

But AVIRA, they are heading the wrong way, really surprising.
But of course AVIRA have been on-top for a long time so I guess they can't head anywhere else but down, unfortunately.
I mean they can't be the king of every test they participate in.

Another load of BS from dennis labs. Avoiding the fact that showing any AV product as 100% just shows your test uses a misleadingly low amount of samples, let's skip directly to something else.

Bitdefender scores higher than the top-notch dual engine G-Data, which uses the BitDefender engine. Nice joke of a test Dennis Labs :thumb:

BitDefender also scores higher than G Data for the months of October 2010 and December 2010 in AV-Test.org's Real-World Testing.

    Proof :D
IMO if it was On Demand G-Data should have performed better (Since it has the same engine + another one).
Or maybe it wasn't On Demand and all modules of the suite was involved. :D

For some reason i can't load the PDF

BD can score better than products usig their engine because of the added enhancements in the latest engine which they haven't provided to them..:)

Nice test shocking to see McAfee performed bad in this test, earlier I thought McAfee only had performance issues:eek:

    No Comodo and avast :'(

Anyway interesting to see F-Secure not doing so well here, while they were among the best in AV-C dynamic test last year.

    Congrats to Symantec.

    Regards

Then in APPENDIX E: TESTING TERMS
As a promotional tool for Symantec, it is certainly legal and effective, certainly not a neutral test.

Unreliable and paid test. Trend Micro failed on both av-test.org and av-comparatives.org and they tell me it's second best security suite ?!

Come on, only someone completely unaware of the real facts will believe this unfair test.
