    Looks like it's for economical reasons and not for political reasons - but who knows ?

    Nope because unlike in China which is the global HQ of hardware cheap and costly, gullible Indians looking at cheap value gobbles up Dell by the dozens, more so than anywhere else so its a marketing decision, almost all major components would be sourced from China regardless of the manufacture in India. Dell had tried manufacturing in India earlier in the 90s but closed down their factory due to red tape, lets see what happens now.
