Friend gave me a Dell L100 keyboard to replace my old one. No USB port on this old desktop so I used a USB to PS/2 adapter. Will the L100 not work on a Win 98 SE system, is the adapter bad, what? Any place to download a USB driver for my OS that might make this keyboard work?

Make sure that adapter is for a keyboard and not for a USB mouse. 98 does work with USB keyboards. Does 98 detect the keyboard when you plug it in, then try to find a driver for it?
