Deleting a snapshot

    There is always that risk certainly, but all my important documents are backed up regularly.

    Missed a bit.

    C: drive is 2 320's in raid 0. Thats 640.
    D: 2nd internal is 320

    External is 500 So total is 640+320+500=1460

    I defrag C: frequently The others rarely.

    Hi Erik

    Your question about security software in my 2nd snapshot was a good one. I've since changed a bit.

    I still use the Pirmary and Primary archive as before, but my secondary is now different. I totally stripped it down. Just OS, and one big game. No Security software at all. Nothing even to go online with in it.

    I boot to it to play the game or to update primary from archive. Thats it.

    I suppose to another drive or external drive or DVD or CD or Tape or Flash memory or.............,otherwise its useless and certainly backing up to the same drive with the Windows on it !

    I don't backup on the same machine where my important files are. That would be foolish! :)

    I was taught the importance of backing up a long time ago, and is one of the important chores one should do to safeguard against data loss.
