We are running ESET Mail Security 4.2 for Exchange. When we get an email in with a virus attachment ESET deletes the attachment but still sends the email with a message that the email had a virus attachment. Is there a way to just delete the whole email and not deliver to the user at all? The problem we have is we receive 1000's of virus spam emails a day and I would prefer just to delete them full stop.

Any help will be much appreciated.

    Thanks for replying Tony

    I am running exchange 2007 sp3

I didnt realise 4.3 was out. I will installed early next week and see if there is something in that to help. ESET is great at detecting the virus and removing it but still delivers the email. We currently are getting 1000's of fake spam from UPS domains and i would prefer just to delete any found with a virus attached. Unfortunately we do business with the real UPS so i cant just block the UPS domain.
