Default rule sets...

    I have an older Computer that I put Look 'n' Stop Lite on (I don't want a resource hogging firewall for it, it doesn't have much resources.) I am wondering though, is the default settings safe enough for Dialup?

    Hi,

    It is safe from common attacks, however if you are a demanding user you might want to give a try to the advanced ruleset.
    Please note too that the lastest 2.05 version has more features and is better than the old Look'n'Stop Lite, and has an application filtering, but is not free beyond the 30 days trial.

    You should give it a try :)

    I might be wrong, but I remember that the advanced ruleset does not work with the LnS-Lite version.
