Deep Freeze with Sandboxie?

Hey,

What do you guys think of Deep Freeze running alongside Sandboxie?

I'm currently using Deep Freeze alone

 

I've ran them both together years ago,it's basically overkill,but you wont have any issues with malware,viruses,etc ever. A combo like this is great in case something accidently escapes out of the sandbox in sandboxie,just a simple reboot with Deepfreeze,your all set to go again.

 

Deep Freeze and Sandboxie are Compatible products.
They go well with each other...

 

An application virtualization program such as Sandboxie is a good complement to a system-wide disk partition virtualization program such as Deep Freeze. In addition to application virtualization, Sandboxie has a strong set of policy restriction features that can be configured for applications running in the sandbox. This makes Sandboxie especially useful for Internet-facing applications such as web browsers and email clients, which should be run untrusted with restricted access.

For example, Sandboxie can be configured to prevent a browser running in the sandbox from having any access to personal files and folders. Sandboxie can be configured to control what executables are allowed to run inside the sandbox, and whether they are allowed to make outbound Internet connections while running sandboxed. Sandboxie can be configured to invoke a secure deletion utility to shred the contents of the sandbox on emptying it. These are just a few illustrations of ways in which Sandboxie can be used alongside Deep Freeze to enhance both security and privacy.

 

SBIE + DF is a very strong setup indeed.
