    Mrk,
Resorting to bribery (throwing candy) to those attending your presentation to keep them there? Well...I'm not surprised. Also, I assume that was water in those blue bottles in one of the photos you showed. If not, no wonder you had such a good time. ;).

Nice that you got a photo of you with Linus. Was that the first time you had met him? What's your impression of him as a person? More importantly, did you get into a fist-fight with him? Sorry, but looks like he could take you from the looks of it. ;).

    Nice reporting, as usual, Mrk.

    Later...

    Bob

    Mrk,
My "attempt" at humor (fist-fight with Linus) in my previous post was in poor taste, and for that I apologize. I was hoping the wink icon would show that I was kidding. Again, sorry, Mrk.

Let me add that I like and have a great deal of respect for Mrk so I would not want to detract from his accomplishment.

Congratulations on your presentations at LinuxCon, Mrk. :).

    Best regards,

    Bob

Oh sorry, I did not notice the comment until now. No, not poor taste. Not at all.

So I didn't really get a chance to talk him that much. He was way too busy. But if we did, he'd prolly win.
And yes, this was the first time I met Linus, so it was rather cool.

    Mrk

I noticed Linus was wearing a LinuxCon T with the map of Japan. Wasn't it supposed to be a map of Europe or the hosting country?

Looked really interesting. Don't Kraftwerk come from Düsseldorf? I wonder if they use Linux on their Kling Klang studio laptops lol?
