Tried a net install earlier today, but the servers were overloaded (no surprise there), so it looked like it would be 6 hours or more to complete, so I aborted. Back to Ubuntu x64 for now, but may try again later this week when things settle down. The RC2 looked very nice....
Hello, I know at least two company on my area who sell security/management appliances based on Debian. Seems a very popular distro. Might try it after having installed VirtualBox Regards, gkweb.
Debian is really popular because of its rock-solid stability. As you can see, they only release a stable version every two to three years, so you can bet that everything has been tested thoroughly.
