    Hi, everyone,

The number of database refs hasn't changed since Wednesday and remains at 52187.

Was the database (radius.td3) updated since Wednesday?

If so, how many refs does it contain now and what is its size in Kb (to make sure that I am downloading the right file)?

Have a spring (or autumn) weekend and thank you for TDS!

    Hi there, the latest are [52414 references - 26651 primaries/13539 traces/12224 variants/other]
So you might have to change the update.cfg file or get them from the website if still not updated for you.

    Hi,

In addition to what Jooske already posted:

The right number of defs is at the moment not showing at the TDS-site:
    http://tds.diamondcs.com.au/
That site shows at the moment 52187

And the private forum shows at the moment:
    TDS-3 References: 52187. Last updated Wed Apr 13 2005.

Nevertheless, like Jooske posted, the defs are (copy from my system):
    01:00:16 [Init] • Systems Initialised [52414 references - 26651 primaries/13539 traces/12224 variants/other]
01:00:16 [Init] Radius Systems loaded. <Databases updated 15-04-2005>

Gavin forgot to update the numbers on those pages, but the update is there ;)

    Jooske, FanJ,

You are always there for everyone. I appreciate your generoisty with your time and knowledge.

    Can I re-ask:

What is its size in Kb of the latest radius.td3 file (to make sure that I am downloading the right file from the Web site)?

    Many thanks again.

    I wonder myself!
I see it in the TDS directory as 2.238KB, but properties say 2,18KB on disc (2.293.760 bytes) -- but if you have it installed and reloaded TDS you should have the total amount of references like posted above.

    Thanks, guys.

    I have the same.

BTW, how do I check the MD5 Hash?

I was always curious about it!

    Hi Sam,

There are a lot of tools (free and not free) available with which you can calculate a checksum.
So I name two of them:

    - CryptoSuite from Jason.
    Not free.
It can calculate lots of checksums, meaning you can let it use different HASH algorithms (MD5 is one of them).
See the dedicated forum for it here on the Wilders-board.

    - Karen's Hasher.
    Free.

    Cheers, Jan.

    Edited to add:

    Another free one:
    - DigestIt2004
    http://www.digestit.tk
    (I have DigestIt2003 installed)

And here is the site of the always nice List of Lists with respect to Checksum Tools:

    You're most welcome Sam !
Thanks for your kind words :D

If you have a question about calculating such a MD5 checksum, please let it know.
Well, I don't have all the checksum tools installed but I have some ;) ;)

    Warm regards, Jan.
