that would be the utility in XP. not sure about vista but i would imagine it effects it as well.
This effects version 2 as well.
Running the utility would cause nod to create massive temp files (similar problem here https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=197307 )
and would also make the utility almost unresponsive for an extended period of time while the hard drive accessed.

Hi Chunko, are you still having problems? Also after installing the latest definition file?

    problem still occurs with 2792.
the problem starts when the disk cleaner begins to scan the program files.

Does it happen with version 2790 as well? If so, does the problem go away after disabling the realtime file system protection?

    hi marcos,
it happened with 2790 as well. Yes, i believe i disabled the file system protection with no results.
i just uninstalled 3 and went back to 2.7 v2795 with non problems, which is odd considering it was in 2.7 this first started :doubt:

Sorry, I meant the most current version which is currently 2798, or at least 2794.

I think i had the 2794 installed before i uninstalled v3. and the problem was still there.
2795 + are all running fine but i'm now using v2.7.
