Data execution prevention blocking windows explorer?

    hey, i have a AMD +3000 32/64bit windows xp 32bit sp2 1g ram 400mhz and other stuff.
    The thing is that every time i open up my computer then click on any drive Data execution prevention says its blocked Windows explorer from runing then it clears the hole screen and kicks off and drive folder i have open!.
    Any help would be great.

    Have you tried turning it off?

    Right click My Computer > properties > advanced tab > Performance > DEP tab.

    If you have Hardware DEP, don't know.

    I have hardware DEP enabled (for the last 12 months), but have never come across problems with "windows explorer".
    You can add this as an "exception" in DEP, but you may have some corruption/problem elsewhere.

    EDIT
    does this happen when you explore? if yes, have you tried re-installing the disk (HD) drivers?

    It is hardware DEP and i'll try reinstalling the HD drivers.
