i noticed my d recovery drive in vista that holds 15gb is free it has nothing in it. Whats the point in having it separate from my main 500gb drive? thats how it came with the computer when i bought it. 500 gb was the main c drive and the d drive was labeled d recovery drive. It had about 8 gb of data in it but now its empty. So whats the point of having it separate should i just merge it with my 500gb main drive?

Ah ... no reply. Would I sacrifice stability for a measly three percent? No, unless it involved a significant benefit.
