    Every time i run CWS this one is removed:

    Done!
    Removed from your system:
    - CWS.Xmlmimefilter

    Windows XP (5.01.2600 SP1)
    CWShredder v1.52.0

    Can you tell me what this is or what it is doing?

    Hi Gerard,

    You are using an old version of CWShredder.
    That had a minor flaw. I you use 1.52.2 you should not get that message.

    I think its removing my hosts file from S-S&D.
    Am I correct?

    You need to download the latest which is 152.2.
    152.0 did have a bug where it would remove the hosts file. :eek:


    Are you having a Hijack problem? Shredder should only be run when there is a CWS Hijack of your homepage.
