    greetings,

On 07/06, i tried to renew my ESET NOD32 antivirus, like i do every year.

Unfortunately i ended up renewing through the Dutch renewal, in stead of a Belgian one.
(My native tongue is dutch, belgium is bilingual and the eset belgium site is in french)

As I realised my error, i opened a ticket to ESET holland (15/06) to notify them that i got the license email, but didnt receive a new userid and password.

ESET holland referred me back to the distributor in belgium www.nod32.lu

So i sent them a ticket about the same issue. I got a reply (01/07) that i had indeed ordered a dutch renewal and that they had requested to transfer the license that i had renewed to belgium. They did mention that it could take some time.

Unfortunately we are the 29th now and i still havent heard anything.

I'm just wondering if this is a normal period and if I am just being impatient, or is there anything I can do to speed up the process.

    thanks for any suggestions.

That is indeed a ridiculous time (about a month) to have to wait for it.

BTW: the Dutch-language site of that Belgian reseller is:
    http://www.nod32.be/dut

Maybe dmaasland could help you. He/she works for the Dutch reseller/distributor NOD32 NL, otherwise the Eset headquarter need to jump in.

    Veel succes !

    Hello,

Prices are lower with ESET France and Netherlands than with ESET Belgium-Luxembourg.

    NOD32 (first licence):
    31,97€ (ESET Belgium-Luxembourg)
    29€ (ESET France or NL)

I don't have a problem with the price difference.

Frankly, I didn't even notice it.

I'll happily pay that 2,97 if it means this gets sorted.

FanJ, thank you for the suggestion, sending mr/ms maasland a PM tomorrow

I'll be going on vacation tomorrow so if you read this in time, send me a PM with your e-mail address / Ticket REF. or EAV number so I can have a quick look.

    @ dmaasland

Thanks much for jumping in :D
Since it is vacation time, I expected that you could be (or soon to be) on vacation. Enjoy your vacation! Hopefully Sanewar will send you the info in time.

In cases like this it is a good idea to subscribe to the thread so you get an email when there is a first not-read new reply.

I hope you guys can get it sorted :)
