I'm using an application that has a custom made copy protection system, when starting the application it creates a file and as NOD scans it, the application takes ages to start.

I found that excluding the file solves the slowness whilst starting problem. Is there a way to submit the file to Eset so they can find out what NOD doesn't like about it.

    Any advice much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Dan

I'd suggest that you exclude that file from scanning. Disabling advanced heuristics would do the trick also, but doing so would significantly worsen detection capabilities.

Simply send the file to the support team. It isn't malware, so sending it to sample@eset.com will be ignored. So its best you contact the support team on this issue.
