    Looking at their FAQ.....
""Q: Do I have to uninstall my current antivirus software prior to installing Custodia AntiVirus?

A: Yes, to ensure optimum performance, you must install any third party antivirus software that you may currently have installed on your computer prior to installing Custodia AntiVirus."" LoL

At first glance of this thread, it appears this AV is using Rising's technology. And Cogen Media seems familiar to me.....:doubt:

Interesting... From 12 samples I colected in the last days Custodia detected 6. It's a good result... Can I say Twister detected 8 and F-Secure detected 10 or it's a comparison against policy?

And Cogen Media seems familiar to me.....

    Can you explain why o_O

Q: Do I have to uninstall my current antivirus software prior to installing Custodia AntiVirus?

A: Yes, to ensure optimum performance, you must uninstall any third party antivirus software that you may currently have installed on your computer prior to installing Custodia AntiVirus. If you install Custodia AntiVirus when there is another antivirus software already installed on your computer, the two antivirus software applications will be competing for the same computer system resources, which will significantly impact the speed of your computer system.

To be honest, I really don't know. The name just struck me as really familiar, a name I heard a few years back - only I can't quite put my finger on what exactly I heard this name in relation with. I've forgotten :(

Maybe because it use to be named CoGen Antivirus? If I remember correctly they were a Rinsing clone from Canada.
