You'll notice that it gives that version for the Virus Signature database Version. Scroll down a little...

    Hi Peter,

Look a little further down in your system info inside NOD32. The 1.931 is the virus signature database version while the 2.12.3 is the component versions....

    HTH....

It could have something to do with when you downloaded the program.

What version of Nod32 are you running, 2.12.2 or 2.12.3?

    Cheers :D

You make a mistake. The 1.931 is the virusfile. The 5000 stuff has also got something to do with let's say a sort of dat file.
