I guess this is a suggestion more than a complaint.
It would be usefull if the current installed definition date was viewable in the Help/About menu. I see no way to find out what definition is installed other than manually going to updates to check if any available.
Other than this, it is a great programme.
I used to use SpywareBlaster and Spybot search & destroy.
I still run Spybot S & D. Is this nescessary, or can I uninstall Spybot S & D and only use Privacy Expert suite?

Yes, I totally agree with you about the need to find out which version of the malware definitions are currently installed. This should not be too hard for Acronis to implement in the software.

    Thank you Kirill,
In a similar vain, would it be possible to right click the malware shield icon on the toolbar and update the definitions. Currently one has to access the update link via the programme from the program files menu. It would be quicker (and easier) simply right click the shield icon for updating purposes.

    Cheers,

    Hello paulmer,

    Thank you for your suggestion.
I have forwarded it to our Development Team. They will certainly consider it and probably this feature will be implemented in future.

    Thank you.
