Curious about Acronis keys already registered

Anyone bought the Home 2009 version and then went to register it only to find the key was already registered? I assume through eBay.

 

Somebody did recently report that as a problem although it seems he was sent a 5 groups of 5 characters key which is the style used prior to TI2009 rather than the TI2009 key of 8 groups of 8 characters.

Already did that! They suggested I contact the seller. The seller claimed he was an authorized reseller. Now what?

 

I suggest raising a ticket on it, that way the problem becomes official and is in writing, this is assuming your last contact was via Live Chat, rather than the technical/sales support desk.
