What do you have planned for this tool? do you have plans to implement any of the suggestions ("DACS") that you got when you asked for them in the other thread?

    Some other additions:
    - Althoug for now it's ok that the results are just a log in plain text would be nice to have something more "prettier" in a far future, for services like VT, camas, valkirie.
    - Drag and Drop on multiple files on the file manager section <- > Batch uploading
    - Shell integration, right click send to Crystal X
    - Extensions for Firefox and Chrome, to make possible that every single file downloaded is automatically scanned in VT (for example)
Something similar is possible to do already with download statusbar (firefox addon) and VT hash
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/download-statusbar/
https://addons.cdn.mozilla.net/img/uploads/previews/full/11/11440.png?modified=1331247702 see the virus scan tab.
    http://www.boredomsoft.org/vt-hash-check.bs

With this 2 in firefox you can configure download statusbar to "send" every file downloaded to be scanned with VT hash in Virus total.

Regarding adding more services I would focus in improve how it is now and extend the features, most of the scanners are practically the same and only add more work for you to keep them working and updated. VT (http://vscan.novirusthanks.org or any other similar to VT as a backup), CAMAS, Valkirie and a couple of sandboxes would be enough for now.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your interest.

Yes, there is plan to add Detailed for results (like in DACS where is vendor name and result).

    Very good suggestions!

    1. Yes, I will improve details section, like you mentioned (prettier) :)
    2. Drag & Drop feature for file manager is in the list and also will be available in first public Beta.
    3. Good suggestion and I hope that I can add it.
    4. Another good suggestion! :thumb: Will be added into program.

    Thank you for information.

    Agree with you :thumb:

But remember that the strong point of DACS idea was the ability to automatically scan all the processes (task manager processes) in the cloud and then alert if the result was malware with popup (kill, quarantine), this with a local/cloud whitelist so the exe's are not uploaded over and over.
    It's this also planned?

    What about the Batch upload?

Really thanks for the tremendous effort that you are doing developing this app. I think you are developing an amazing idea.

I found a couple of alternatives to VT
    https://www.metascan-online.com/ 41 engines

    Hi,

    Thank you for fast response!

At the moment there is no plan for local database but there is plan to add Comodo File Intelligence (Comodo online database).

Another plan is to add automatic upload and scanning for processes and own added files. I´ll try to add also a lot of options for users

Thank you for helping me with good ideas and suggestions! :thumb:
    I really appreciate any help.

Yeah, I also tested uploading method for MetaScan and it worked well. another point is getting results from report but I believe that it is not impossible.

    Regards,
    Kardo

Thanks, I'm testing it, for now would be nice to have a progress bar or something to know what is the status/progress of the files being uploaded.

Also I'm missing connection settings for people behind a proxy.

I'm trying to upload something and I don't get any result, the event log seems correct (would be nice to be able to copy paste it) but I don't see anything in the results tab

    Hello,

    Thank you for your feedback!

Progress bar will be added into next version.

Hmm, strange. What is your computer main language? Is it English? Maybe it is related with language.

Thank you for suggestion about copy-paste in events log. Export feature will be added :thumb:

    Kardo

    Hi Kardo

Just ran a checkup with the latest beta and believe that it has highlighted a number of FPs (especially in the case of the 1st in the list in the screenshot...that is highlighted...;)...although the 2nd in the list also somewhat surprised me too).

    Hope that is of use?

    Regards
