    Hello everyone. :)

Here is a preview screenshot of the next version. Added some new settings like Engines selection, also re-positioned some settings locations.
In the next version it is possible to choose which Engines to use:

    1. Cloud 1 (powered by VirusTotal)
    2. Cloud 2 (new and in-house engine)
    3. Internal (local updateable database)
    4. Heuristic (local updateable database)

I hope you like it. :)

Under Checkup there are Quick and Advanced options.
    Are they really necessary?
They both open the same window.

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

    </configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

Cheers for the reply mate, that was with stable version...
I have also noticed duplicate entries appearing as both suspicious and safe... damn, I will take a screenshot next time. They appear suspicious first, then after I OK them, later on when they are used, they pop up as safe.

@marzametal Thank you for the answer bro. :)

This kind of bug should be already fixed in current Beta version. Please note that I focused on current Beta version only. Duplicate entries issue is also in current Beta version but it will be fixed in the next version.

    Regards,
    Kardo

Indeed. Feedback about latest Beta version is quite helpful. Thanks to feedback I am able to work out many bugs. :)
Please note that it is a Beta version and it may still contain critical bugs. It is recommended to back-up important files before testing out Beta version.

    Regards,
    Kardo

Is VirusTotal cloud engine held higher in regard than other AV cloud engines (making a comparision between this app and the new-to-the-scene Zemana AntiMalware)? I doubt there is a need to use both CS and ZAM. I may be wrong but their purpose is the same?

It depends actually. I am not sure about ZAM (never tried it) but you can analyze files in real-time with all engines:
    • Collective cloud (integrated VT API)
    • Crystal cloud (own in-house engine)
    • Internal check (updateable database, good for offline users)
    • Heuristic check (updateable database, good for offline users)
Basically Crystal Security is real-time and on-demand app. You can also use Stealth mode feature to deny all unknown/new arrivals by default to keep your computer safe.
In Stealth mode only trusted files will be allowed to run and there is possibility to exclude files (allow blocked file manually).

Thank you for the information! @J_L

    Kardo

Strange, Crystal Security 3.5.0.110 BETA indicates via the GUI that it is Cloud:Connected when internet connections are off.
