Hi Chev, welcome to the forum. I thought the Athlon64 would reign supreme even in this 32bit test and on a MHz:MHz comparison it sure does. Chev, if you are comforable, you may want to try overclocking just a little to get the number one spot :) . It is a nice score anyhow, I have updated the first post to reflect that this is the 3rd fastest.

Very nice! AMD regains the number one spot. The FX-51 which runs at almost that speed I guess would be even faster. Congrats on the #1 spot :) . I doubt anything will be knocking that off until a FX-51 comes along  .

Now that's a good occasion to upgrade to the full version today! Might keep the number 1 spot even tighter!
Congratulations and put it under the christmas tree!

Dell Dimension 8200 with 800 chipset, 1.5 gbytes DRAM.

Increased my score from 12227 to 24953 by upgrading today from 1.8 ghz Pentium IV to 2.6 ghz Pentium IV. Not record setting but a BIG improvement! :D

Yes over twice the speed should help in CryptoSuite a lot. :) Anything over 20000 will be extremely fast in CryptoSuite.

    CPU 2.8 mhz
    Ram - 509 MB
    Time taken - 23916ms
    Score - 20906 CRYPTOMARKS

I actually do not understand this benchmark...... Although there are many things I do not understand when it comes to computers .. LOL
It seems my Pentium 4 2.8ghz with 512MB of ram is always struggling with scans such as Adware 6., TDS-3, Norton AV, .... o_O

That is a bit below average for your computer. Maybe you have a lot of background processes running?

Try closing down a few programs and running the benchmark again.

    I dissagree

    I dissagree

How are you getting these results when you are using a
CPU Intel 3.06 533 Mhz and your benchmark shows a 3381mhz cpu? There is no way to overclock an AMD that much dude.
I ahve been building system for many years and know better. LOL

Just kidding but an intel 3.06 should not be labled 533 mhz

    con

    Intel is better :D

    Re:CryptoSuite Benchmark Results

It really does seem weird that Intel P4's seem to be much worse at this benchmark than AMD chips. I thought the difference wouldn't be as great as it has been. The code has not been optimized for any particular CPU either.

A new PC we have here now, a P4-2.8GHz with HyperThreading, only scores 21500 CryptoMarks. It seems really odd, especially considering that a Celeron is second fastest thus far in this benchmark. My AMD chip which is currently 3rd (with 30198 Cryptomarks) was only running at 2.22GHz.

And here is the screenshot of the benchmark. Hopefully someone with a PRESCOTT Intel CPU can post some results.

This screenshot is from a P4-2.8GHz with HYPERTHREADING enabled.

    Hi, All

Have you tried the two Version's back to back?

I think the difference is between Version's, v1.050 seem to give a lower score of between 3000 and 3500 lower benchmark than v1.000.
Of the test I have run. My highest 29885 [v1.000] 25700 ish. [v1.050]

If this is of any help

    Jason,

As always, thanks for your help.... This is by no means a big problem, as I was just wondering why my score had changed so drastically....
