    Download CryptoSuite here :- http://www.diamondcs.com.au/cryptosuite/index.php?page=download

You can run the CryptoSuite benchmark simply by loading up the CryptoSuite program (Demo or Full version) and clicking on the "Settings" tab.

From there all you need to do is click on Start benchmark and let it run. You should try and not move the mouse or do anything else while it is running to ensure it uses all of your computers speed.

Post your results here if you like, along with your CPU type and other system information. Remember that the only valid results occur when you close down all your other applications and don't move the mouse during the benchmark. So don't bother posting results while you are running a game in the background :)

CURRENT 3 HIGHEST CRYPTOMARK SCORES :-
    ----------------------------------------------------------
    [34575 CryptoMarks] - Caliban - Achieved on a INTEL 3.4E / 1024MB DDR2 RAM
    [34120 CryptoMarks] - TheQuest - Achieved on an Athlon Barton 3200+ overclocked to 2531MHz / 1024MB RAM
    [32823 CryptoMarks] - chev_rules - Achieved on an AMD64 3200+ overclocked to 2180MHz / 1024MB RAM
    ----------------------------------------------------------

    CURRENT LOWEST CRYPTOMARK SCORE :-
1113 CryptoMarks - Achieved on an INTEL P166MHz/40MB RAM

Why is it that Flux has lower speed in the test than me but more cryptomarks?

    I demand cryptomarks!

    Re:CryptoSuite Benchmark Results

CryptoMarks is basically a score for your computer at cryptographic operations. It mainly stresses your CPU (integer) and MEMORY (RAM). Basically the higher CryptoMarks score you get, the faster CryptoSuite will encrypt/decrypt data, generate keys, etc. It is probably also a good indication of how other cryptographic applications will run also.

These tests aren't really "synthetic" they are composed of real algorithms, which is why a higher CryptoMarks score DIRECTLY relates to better performance in CryptoSuite. AMD cpu's will score higher than INTEL cpu's usually, even when the AMD is a few hundred MHZ slower, this is due to AMD's "more power per MHz". This isn't really a contest, it is just a way for us to see various performance levels across everyone's computers. So don't be ashamed if you get a low score, you are still helping us. :)

Also the RAM being reported slightly incorrectly is due to Windows... I will have to find a more accurate way of determining this in the next version. :) An AMD XP 2000+ only runs at 1667MHz, it is sold as a "2000+" because it means it usually beats an INTEL CPU running at that speed. I wouldn't worry though because as I said previously, AMD cpu's are faster than Intel CPU's at the same MHz.

hayc, a P3-933mhz/512MB ram we have here scored ~11500. So your system is about on par with that I would suggest. :)

I will post some more results from other CPU's we have later.

Compared my benchmark to others; it would appear that a little bit of extra processor speed gets you a lot more performance in this proggy than a lot of extra RAM.

    Re:CryptoSuite Benchmark Results

Yes because the CryptoSuite benchmark only uses at maximum 2MB of memory. It stresses your memory subsystems though, unless you had a very large L2/L3 cache. So it is good for CryptoSuite to have VERY fast memory/large CPU cache. :)

    Re:CryptoSuite Benchmark Results

Yes Pieter, last month I decided to change my system so came up with that CPU ( Intel P 4 HT, 3066 with Northwood HyperTreading ).
Works flawless on a Asus P4P800 pro board.
It's kind of a change from P3 800 towards this.

People from TDS know me from my avatar ;)

Jason, that program looks fine only can't find any use to it yet, but who
    knows in time.
