    Hello all,

Another review of a lovely distro, if you're interested ...

CrunchBang Linux, a Ubuntu-based distribution running lightweight Openbox desktop manager - covering topics like Wireless, Bluetooth, Web camera support, Multimedia (Flash, Windows video, MP3 playback), Samba sharing, printing, proxy, appearance, applications, installation, and more.

I think you will like it.

Nice one Mrk. About Compositing, you said
Did you try putting another window behind the terminal while transparent? Does it show, or the wallpaper? I know it's a detail, but i'm curious.

It reminds me of why KDE developers didn't want to make transparency available without 3D acceleration. Because it wasn't 'real transparency'.
Again, it's a detail, but it would confirm what they were saying.

In any case, i liked the review Mrk, as always :)

Hmmm!!! This one installs in Vbox but it won't install the Guest Additions. Says to install the GNU compiler but that is already installed.

Maybe a different version? Did you sudo apt-get install build-essential before installing guest addons?
