In the dwindling light the fireflies glowed,
And the green grass the homeowner mowed.

trying hard to miss his toes,
hit a tree and bent his nose

thinking to himself, can I get another one of those?
Sure. Why not? Try a piece of garden hose.

and you'll end up dewy as a rose
no matter which way the wind blows

the fragrance is like a fine perfume
    scenting through my living room

    where art thou Romeo?
    beneath the portico

Come my love into the light
    I do look a fright!

no tears my dear, for it's alright
if I ease up and squeeze you tight

hold me gently through the night
    until appears the morning light

    softly sighing, sunlight embraced
Romeo missing, with out a trace

Like an over-ripe beefsteak tomato rimmed with cottage cheese

What sin have I committed to derve him?
