    WOW
Thanks wilbert: more toys for testing.

Have been using live Cd sessions of
    Puppy: could not detect ethernet,
Kubuntu: works like a charm ( heh typing this ;) )
Others to come: damn that dl speed.
The VMWAre player and the Appliance page are also WOW.

There is still a steep learning curve re installs and configs etc after 15 years of M$ :doubt:

    MrK where are you ?
    :)

PS: for anyone who wants to burn iso images to CD or DVD: smallest bestest fastest:

    Holy barnacle! I'm here.

But am I not entitled for a bit of respite? Had a nice little party last night so I didn't get my Internet infusion. BTW, I cannot test everything so fast. I need time.

Currently, the site won't load. Will try later definitely.

PCLinuxOS has had this capability for some time now, since 0.93a and perhaps earlier. I believe it's the "remasterme" or "mklivecd" command(s). Check it out on their forums. Allows you to make a customized live cd of PCLOS. Pretty cool... :)
