Create Image FROM a network drive.

Hi Folks:

I've done a search but can't quite get a clear idea if TrueImage for Windows can create an image of a Network drive to a local drive. My network drives do not show up in my list of drives to select from. But I can select them as a place to strore the image. Thanks, David

You are completely right, the standard version of Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/) doesn't have a functionality to create an image of the network drives. It can only create images of the local hard disk drives.

However, there were released Acronis True Image 8.0 Enterprise Server (http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/products/ATIESWin/) and Acronis True Image 8.0 Corporate Workstation (http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/products/ATICW/). These distributions of Acronis True Image 8.0 product have got Acronis True Image Management Console and Acronis True Image Agent. Using these new features one can handle the remote operations. Now only the remote image creation is available.
