create bootable rescue media on usb stick

can i create bootable rescue media on usb stick and copy this files then to cd-rom in order to create bootable rescue cd-rom?
the normal way of creating bootable rescue media on cd-rom does not work on my notebook even not in safe mode! need to find an alternative way!

what do i need to edit on this files created to usb-stick in order to make them work on cd-rom?

We regret to inform you that current version of Acronis True Image doesn't support create bootable USB stick drives officially. It means that on some systems the created bootable drive cannot work thogh there are a lot of systems that can be booted in this way.

Could you please describe what error you get when you try to create Acronis Bootable CD? We will help you to solve the problem.
