Create Bootable CD ! HOW !! HELP plse.

Am trying out Acronis True Image ( after throwing out 6 other Apps, except Ghost !) my CD burner has now been running( burning) for exactly one hour-for the THIRD time( third clean new CD/RW disc). Anyone tell me;-

1) How long/how much data should be burnt to this " Bootable CD".

2) cpu activity is up to 6% then zero, why-normally burning takes most of my resources.( Win 2000Pro, Pentium4 ) ?

3) My burner is an Asus, connected via USB would this cause problem for Acronis ?

4) Can I burn a bootable CD on a different pc to this one and still use it for booting up into Acronis T.I. on this computer?

Hope someone can help as without this bootable CD I am not prepared to even try Acronis out. Thanks in advance, Ian ( Island of Malta)

 

The rescue-CD is NOT machine-specific. A Rescue CD burned on one machine should work on another.
The other thing you can do is ask Acronis for the link to the iso image and then use something else to burn the iso to CD. Good luck.
