    Hi (again),
I was using, for the first time, DD today and I was expecting to be able to partition my USB key (which is 8G). I was suprise to see that I can't see my USB key in the view of all drive.

Is there a other tool or a way to partition my USB key with DD ?

    Thanks,

You can't use DD10 while it is running in Windows or while booted from the recovery disk in the "full" mode to partition USB keys because it won't recognize removable drives. However, you can use it in the "safe" mode, IF your PC's BIOS supports this.

For example, my IBM ThinkPad X41T BIOS will assign drive letters to non-system drives when booting, so I can plug in a USB key, boot from the DD10 recovery CD in the "safe" mode, and see the drive. In this mode DD10 works fine.

You'll have to try this with your PC to see if it will work. If not, you can always use Linux to partition your USB keys.
