Just donwloaded ghostwall as i was told its a good gammers firewall. And i must say its the biggest load of crap i have ever seen.

My issue is that when i donwloaded the version i got a ton of virues which avg removed. BUT it also install shity spyware to replace my homepage as well.

FFS What kind of jipo product is this.

Any know why this is. Don't tell me about products to remove this as i work for software devloper and i'm fully aware on how to remove it. What i want to know is why the **** was it in there in the first place

That's just another (new) page of the Smitfraud scam. How on Earth did you think this has anything to do with Ghostwall at all? o_O

Strictly in the interest of truth, justice, science and apple-pie ( <g> ) I went to the link. Things were - um - "healthy" there (no un-toward computer-related occurences noted).

It re-directs to sexieteeniethumbsdotcom/count.php (the "Click here" link at the bottom of that page re-directs to a Google search page).

And that's the naked truth. :D pete

Actually. I have to admit I had same kinda problems after I installed
    GhostWall ...
Found several worms on my computer after it was running.

So I assume it leaves by default some certain ports open, which certain
worms can access to infect your computer..

rcoughtrey, point blank it's your fault. GhostWall is a very good firewall. But singularily that's all GhostWall is. If the deletion of a previous firewall & the install of GhostWall left you vunerable. That's because your previous firewall was doing more than a firewalls job.
