Does anyone know of a good software program that monitors CPU Temerature and Fan speeds in real time? I have a program that will give me this information but only when it is manually run. Other than noticing a difference in the sound of my computer I have no way of telling if the fan quits or needs to be replaced. Sometime back I had a fan go out and consequently I had to replace the CPU. Needless to say that was more expensive than simply replacing the fan had I of known it was bad. Replies to this post will be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

You need to see if it supports your computer's mobo. If so, it will
do what you want. There have been several updates to supported mobos.

Displays real time data in systray.

From what I have read at various locations it would seem that SpeedFan would be a good candidate for you to consider.

Huge votes for SpeedFan and Core Temp here. Definiately warrant a download and test.
