I just ran a scan & NOD32 detected cpqsetver.exe as a variant of Win32/Agent trojan, which it deleted. I've had NOD32 for a few years & always opt for auto updates.

I researched info on this file & it does not appear to be a threat. I just received a request from ESET to submit it for anaysis as I'm writing this, so I guess I will receive an answer soon.

My research stated that this file is a component of the HP Wireless Assistant. Can anyone verify this?

Thanks. I just got finished emailing ESET with the attached file. I didn't think this was necessary since ESET sent me a request to submit the file for analysis. I don't undestand why this has to be done in addition.

The internal one running on your machine is very low priority, to the point of being ignored.
