I cannot go on to any site, nothing will work. They are not old/bad URLs and my TOR is connected and configured properly.

    Hi,

Is the local clock on your computer set correctly? That is one common issue I know of.

You need to set your local time to UTC, so figure out first what your local time zone difference is from UTC and set the time accordingly, i.e. Tor only works with UTC time set for the local clock time, especially for onion websites.

Use the TAILS ISO burned to a Live CD/USB for better results, i.e. never use your regular browser profile with Tor.

Right. Whonix uses the browser from TBB in its workstation VM. Everyone using that browser has the same signature, and those using other browsers stand out. The Whonix developer recently discussed this issue at some length in the tor-talk list.
