No that is a 13th day which the correct easier way to display it. Mine expires on 12/14/2008 the US way not 14/12/2008 which is the ~Snip~ way that Europe and other ~Snip~ country's shows their dates. But anyway I am glad that it shows the expiration date because last year I had to extended a couple of weeks and I am glad it now shows those couple of weeks.

The date is displayed as per your 'Regional and language options' configured within your 'Control panel.' Check the following image for confirmation (my personal configuration = YYYY-MM-DD):

May I object that the only two logical ways to represent a date are those in chronological order: our ~Snip~ way 14/12/2008 or the even greater ISO 8601 2008-12-14
I have worked with US providers on studies spanning several years, where dates are very important, and that mix of representations is just too messy. That ISO standard was a life saver. It's no surprise that Eset chose the abbreviated ISO 8601 time stamp for the signature databases: anyone in the world can understand it...

To stay on topic, "License Valid until" is dependent on Windows' regional settings, and it changes (in EAV's window) somewhere between 1-7 seconds if those are modified. Pretty neat. :thumb:

Edit: not fast enough... anyway, excellent choice of format NodboN!

    Hey hi cmezza!!!!

Nice to bump into someone at the same wave-length - it's an unusual format the two of us share albeit very convenient. :thumb:

Well the date just vanished again. It is not showing the expiration date anymore.

They must be in maintenance in the servers.

I’m in the automotive business and work with suppliers and customers from all over the world. I learned real fast that not everyone reads dates the same way. The format I use is 31DE07 (NodboN’s expiration date) at work but I don’t think this is an option with Nod32.

I hope you meant 31DEC07, because comes March... 31MA08 might as well be MAY ;)
As for Nod32, it displays that short date according to your regional settings in the control panel. The closest I could get was 31dec.07 with "ddMMMyy". In fact you can see that it takes about 5 seconds to EAV to apply changes in its own window... :thumb:

Thank you nodyforever for your helpful reply, but that still does not answer my question. Where is the expiration date?

Pardon me if I am obtuse, but I still don't see an expiration date, either in your screen shot or on my AV.

The expiration date doesn't appear on his screen shots. The box is where the expiration date SHOULD appear.
By the way, my expiration date is not appearing either.

Thank you Thankful and NodboN. Mine has been missing for over a week. I wish they would get their act together. This was indeed a cool new feature (when it worked).

Well, mine is still missing. Good thing I made copies of the emails when I purchased the licenses. Maybe in another year they will have it enabled again. But I am not holding my breath.

Hmm, strange. I have a one year license for the Vista computer. It is missing from the Gui. I have a two year license for the XP computer, it is back. Go figure.
