Continue using TrueCrypt or switch to VeraCrypt or CipherShed

    I am using TrueCrypt, probably the last version that was released.

    Please advise whether to switch to VeraCrypt or CipherShed or continue using TrueCrypt.

    If I install VeraCrypt, what will happen to my existing encrypted containers?

    Veracrypt is a more secure, up-to-date software. You can convert your TC containers to VC

    Or mount/dismount them with VC.

    I would upgrade to Veracrypt. Great software.
