This month's Consumer Reports reviewed antivirus products and Ranked Eset NOD32 the Second best antivirus, just 1 point behind the #1 rated product. NOD32 was also awarded the CR "Recommended" rating. CR said: "ESET was very good at protecting against live online exploits, easy to use, and efficient at managing resources. It was good at detecting malware and protecting against newly discovered malware. Warnings were clear with appropriate guidance on how to proceed in case of problems."

Can you provide a link to the source? Or is that only for paid customers?

    Thanks.

I'd have to check their methodology, but it appears like the top five are nearly "equal" according to this chart - all recommends.

Also, not sure why the Microsoft product is not included. Since it comes with the OS, it would be interesting to know where it lands on their scale, if nothing other than to "baseline" the rest. Might be embarrassing to the others if it hit a 57, but maybe it would only rank a 39 or 40.
