Same here. I'd installed Avira Premium 2013 on my desktop just before attempting to come here and I was starting to wonder if it was the culprit.

The site has been spotty since ~ 17:30 ET. Now seems to be stable.

A number of folks, including me, are concerned with the site outages and | or spotty connectivity since late yesterday afternoon.

Wilders was unreachable for me on & off last evening, and was the same at approx 13.50 and 14.50hrs today (GMT)...it seems to be a sporadic issue.

    I had problems too.

Let's give LowWaterMark the time to look at it.
And let's not forget that tomorrow it is Thanksgiving Day in the USA. It's Holiday season there ;)

I wish I could say it's getting better or give some useful information, but, I'm not getting anything useful from the hosting company on this problem myself.

All I get is the typical... We know about the issue; Techs are looking at it; Seems to be getting better; Let you know...

That usually happens when there is a problem above the hosting companies own level. There are no server hardware issue. Nothing in their data center that is bad. (Our servers are running just fine, even when no one is able to reach them.) It's something directly upstream that's also taking us down with it, and all our hosting company's other websites, too.

So, there's no ETA on anything. No way of knowing if at this moment it's entirely over, or, if 10 minutes from now there will be a 6 hour outage. Simply, no one knows for sure.

The only thing I can offer at all... If you are wondering if we alone are down, or if it's our entire hosting company. Check the website at the link below. That's their main page. If it's also down, then it's a bigger outage then just us.

Yes, that's actually a little bit of good news. Whatever they are doing to remediate this, their main site is down a little bit more than us. At least the resolution is favoring us more than a marketing site.

isUp.me says that http://applicationx.net/ is up, but I was just waiting for anything to load & looking at a blank screen. This was a few seconds ago, yet Wilders is fine. I have noticed some gremlins though.

I tried the page in Opera & got a blank white screen with 'Service Unavailable' in the top left corner.

I switched to the SSL port, and the forum went from very sluggish (for me) to smokin' fast!

Yeah, I spoke too soon. It was really snappy for a few minutes, now is back to mostly sluggish.
Edit: Speed seems to go in and out.

If it's any help, I noticed short bursts of slow connectivity around 11:20am PST.

Forum very sluggish for me at times this morning. I'm hoping this will post as the circle has been spinning for a minute so far.

I notice it because Wilders is usually my quickest forum to load.
