Congratulations ESET on the public release of ESET Smart Security and ESET NOD32 Antivirus 3.0 and a toast to the best anti-threat solution yet.

    Cheers :)

I hope so, they've earned it - either that or maybe the taskmaster can lay off the whip for just 5 minutes?  :ninja:

    Seriously though, well done !!

Until they get the download problems sorted they should choke on it.

Of course there's more work to be done as there is with any new release. The celebration is not for absolute completion but for bringing the product to release - but issues with authentication are an entirely different issue.

I just wish that Comcast would sign a deal with NOD32 and offer it instead of Mcafee Internet Security (I tried it, and it is decent, but NOD32 simply offers the best mix of speed and detection) the automatic mode in the firewall would make it simple enough for the types of people who don't know the AV world exists beyond Symantec, Mcafee, and TrendMicro. To be fair and not sound like a fanatic, Avira has that good balance too.
