When I update the configuration file on the NOD32 server, does it automatically distribute new settings to managed clients? (I changed the updates from Offer to Auto). Many Thanks.. (new NOD32 Administrator)

    Hi Techie_Mark:

    Welcome to Wilders!

Yes, when the client machine contacts the internal mirror for updates, the .xml (usually nod32.xml) file is checked for changes and applied.

    You are welcome.

In the configuration editor, those items marked in blue-green (turqoise?) will overwrite current settings. Items grayed will not be overwritten (current settings will stay).

I'd like to add that unless the Configuration ID has changed (Edit/Configuration ID/Generate New), the console will not update the clients until the next time the mirror files themselves are updated. If you want to make your changes take effect the very next time the clients check in, update the ID # before saving. Good habit to get into.
