Computer locks up

Hello all,

First i want to give my compliments to ESET for this nice product

I just wanted to try ESS out with a unknown "virus" in a archive (link here: http://www.morgud.com/interests/security/dfk-threat-simulator-v2.asp
) The archive is all the way down the page (password: Morgud.com). It's a threat simulator that tries to simulate a zero-day malware attack (got a remover in it). When i tried to unzip it it detected a unknown NewHeur_PE virus (good sign!) in it. But the problem is when i tried to delete it, whole the computer just locked up (tried it twice, both time locked up). Is it just my computer? or really a bug...

 

I was able to delete it fine. What did you use to unzip it?

 

The standard one in Windows XP

 

Unzipped it and ESS nicely asked me what to do with it.


PS. I really like the GUI

 

aah, found the problem! I disabled Prevx and after that it was able to delete it again without a computer lock up

 

Great.
So we found another "bug"? It doesn't work well with Prevx
