    Hello support,

I installed PPM 10 on my Vista and wanted to use the function to set up a dual boot with W7 on my second partition.
I had also used the OS manager prior installing the OS W7.(probably I shouldn`t)
After rebooting it says"Insert DVD...or Esc to abort the action
"Please make sure Bios is set to boot from CD\Dvd..

The installing from W7 failes because it couln`t find a system partition on the second partition? Desparately trying to update then my Vista on my first partition failed also because "no systempartition found"
PPM probably has disabled both my partitions because trying to restart hangs directly to the screen "Insert DVD"

On the restore mode from W7 dvd I did a prompt first partition "active" and second(just to be sure) on "inactive", however this didn`t help either.
    Still hanging!
The Esc to abort does nothing and I didn`t burn the recoverycd from PPM10.

To save my computer I hope you could give me some help,I am starting to be a bit desparate!

Thanks a lot for the quick reply.

I installed PPM 10 on another computer and made the recovery cd and restored all the corrupted partitions and I was delighted to see my old Vista back.

For the moment I forget the dual boot option with W7 and let it be!

    Thanks again and bye,
